Nudes
Haven’t decided what to get your partner for your anniversary? Do you have a unique friendship which you’d like to celebrate with someone? I’ve drawn many types of nude commissions and always so pleased to see the reactions.
-
Portraits
Portraits are by their very nature personal and I take great care to discuss what is desired from the portrait and to produce a piece which has a good likeness and a valuable creative expression.
-
Pets
I love animals and have made a number of custom pet portraits for happy customers and their four- (or more) legged friends.

Landscape and Still Life
Kikkoman Soy Sauce bottles, classical compositions or daring abstracts. Landscapes of favourite places which can be explored.
Sketch in Pencil or Watercolour
£50-£250
A sketch of a figure or portrait, a detailed drawing or a full watercolour portrait - I enjoy making them all.
Coming to an agreement over the style and finished product is important and I can guide you through the full process (see the FAQ for more details).
Oil
£150-£450
Oil paint is a favourite of mine and the world over for great reasons - the vibrancy of the colour, the effects you can create with blending and the variety of textures!
It can be demanding to create an oil, as I need to take my time, making sketches and waiting for layers to dry.
Custom
£50+
I have produced illustrations and portraits for a published book, still lifes of various subjects and custom landscapes.
Main mediums are oil and watercolour, but I can also use charcoal, soft pastel, gold leaf, your old TK Maxx receipts; I’m always excited to discuss new ideas and work on new projects.

The level of detail and approach to the art piece can influence greatly the time and effort required to produce it. Whether it is a detailed composition with pattern or a fine likeness, or a expressionistic flourish, I’ve had happy comments from clients who have said it’s remarkable to see themselves in a work, even when it’s in a few lines.

Once you get in touch via the contact form or email, I will send you a form which you can fill in with the details of what you’d like to commission which you will need to complete.
Then we can discuss via email or messages to get the correct idea along. I may produce small sketches to share to make sure you’re happy with what the end result may be.
At this point, if you’re happy to proceed I will take half of the payment in advance of starting the commission.
Once the commission is complete I will share pictures to make sure it is as desired and make adjustments if necessary, and will arrange delivery of the work once the final payment has been received.

I aim to make sure anyone who has commissioned an artwork is satisfied with the end result once I’ve accepted a commission.
I take a payment before starting any work as this is also a signal that you’re serious in commissioning me to spend hours in producing an artwork that you will love (for more details see the P{ocess FAQ).
Therefore if you’re not pleased with what has been produced, we can discuss what alterations need to be made or what can be done to make it right and I will work my hardest. If you’re still not satisfied, we can discuss a partial refund, but since the payment is partially for the time I spend on the commission, it will be under my discretion to determine how much by how much time has been spent on the commission and costs incurred.
